ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR NEET UG, 2023 REGISTRATION
Check and make sure whether you can meet the NEET UG criteria or not:
Subject Specification | Students must qualify for 10+2 or equivalent examinations. The core subjects must be Physics, Chemistry Biology/Biotechnology, and English from an authorized board. |
Age Limit for For Candidates of General (UR)/ General-EWS
& For Candidates of SC/ST/OBC-NCL/PwBD Category | Born on or Before 31.12.2006 |
Marks | To attempt the NEET examination a candidate must score UR – 50%, (PCB) OBC/SC/ST – 40%, (PCB)
PWD – 40% (PCB) in the class 12 examination. |
Nationality | Indian Nationals, NRIs, OCIs, PIOs & Foreign Nationals aspirants are eligible to apply. |
Limit of Attempts | There is no attempt limit: you can attempt NEET as many times as you want to. |

THINGS TO NOTE DURING THE TIME OF THE NEET UG FORM FILL-UP
Make sure all the measures of eligibility criteria are aligned with your documents.
Before submitting the online application always check the information bulletin thoroughly. Here is a glimpse of it:
The candidate must fill the form with the exact spelling of the name, address, and other contact details to ensure future correspondence.
The contact number and email- ID you’ll be using, must belong to you or your parents. NTA will communicate the given email ID and contact number through SMS and Mail.
Please do not use the contact number or email Id of your coaching center. Doing so can lead to the cancellation of the application.
Those Candidates who have passed should fill Code [02 to 07] against the column provided for in case of the Qualifying Examination
Candidates appearing in Class 12 in 2023 should select a qualifying code as 01.
Remember, you must apply online and for once. Keep hold of the confirmation page of the application form as you need to submit them to the NTA.
After paying the registration fee you must ensure to keep a screenshot or any other proof of it.
Once you complete the entire application process, make sure to keep 3-4 copies of the confirmation form with you.
The syllabus of NEET UG, 2023
As the NEET Exam date of 2023 is 7th May, you must have an idea of the syllabus. Appearing for NEET requires only 3 subjects to study, those are Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
